I recently stared this blog in order to give my opinions on Charmed, and how a "spin off" or rather a re-make type show can take its place, and finally give the lover's of Charmed a new outlook on the show and the Power of Three.
Cast:
Paul: the oldest, has the power to move things with his mind. (Telekinesis)
Peyton:the middle, has the power to stop time. (Molecular Immobilization)
PJ (short of Peter John): the youngest, has the power to see into the future. (Premonition)
Grandma Pheobe: Pheobe Halliwell, now age 70, last living survivor of the Charmed ones.
Preface:
Paul, Peyton, and PJ are the 3rd generation
descendants of the charmed ones, Pheobe Halliwell is their Grandmother. They’re
bond to eachother are cousins, each one of Pheobe’s daughter’s had a boy, each
possessing one of the charmed ones gifts, reconstituting the “power of three”.
Paul is the oldest cousin, Peyton is the middle, and PJ is the care free
youngest. Each of there mother’s have died young, leaving Pheobe to take care
of her grandsons, just like Grams did for Prue, Piper and Pheobe. Paul, Peyton
and PJ are not known of there powers, because after all three of Pheobe’s
daughters died, Pheobe swore she would never let the same thing happen to her
grandkids and the power of three would die with her (the last living survivor
of the Charmed legacy). None of the boys have shown any signs of powers so
Pheobe never thought to bind there powers, thinking the legacy of the Halliwell
witches was fulfilled. As Pheobe nears the end of her life, she writes a letter
to her grandsons telling them all about the family, and what might happen after
she passes.
This is the concept of the Pilot Episode, the script for the first episode is going to be up shortly.
